[ THE SHORT VERSION ]

Privacy

Just This has no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything — your blocked apps, your intentions, your session history — stays on your iPhone. We can't see any of it, because there's nowhere for it to go.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Just This does not have a backend. We do not run accounts, logins, or cloud sync. There is no server that could receive your data.

Screen Time access

Just This uses Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity) to block the apps you choose during a focus session. This is what it does and does not do:

  • It blocks and unblocks the apps you select, only while a session is running.
  • It never reads the contents of those apps — no messages, posts, history, or activity inside them.
  • Apple's framework processes this on-device; the selection is stored in an opaque token that even the app cannot read as a plain app list.

What's stored on your phone

  • The set of apps you chose to silence.
  • Your stated intentions and session settings (duration, strictness).
  • Local session stats — time focused, slips intercepted.

This data lives only in the app's local storage on your device. Delete the app and it's gone.

No tracking, no ads

No third-party SDKs. No advertising identifiers. No trackers. No fingerprinting. Just This is not in the attention business — that would rather defeat the point.

No data sold or shared

We have no data to sell or share. There is no third party with access to anything you do in Just This.

Children

Just This is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date below changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
